This habit means that you are in control of what happens to you and how you deal with that. This habit is also about making the choices you think are best for yourself and the people around you ans that you get to make the bad and the good choices. And that you should want to make these choices and try hard to make the best ones. Being proactive can improve your daily life and make you want to be better. It is very important to maintain this habit and to practice it everyday because having good habits that help you are better than having bad habits that hurt you. This habit can make you a higly effective person you can also teach this habit to others and help them improve their lives. This habit can also help you help other people. There are many ways you can use this habit in your daily life, for example if you feel you want to do good things for other people it might be a good idea to voulunteer or just help anyone who needs it.

Image result for the four dimensions of self renewal7. Sharpen the saw, I think this habit is about taking care of the four demensions of self-renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional. The first demension; Physical is about taking care of your own body which is very important it can be about exercise or nutrition. Watching what you eat can really be helpful even if you don't get that much exercise because it can balance and effect so many things like mood, health, and fitness. Even a little bit of exercise is important if you do it everyday even if it feels like you don't want to exercise, you should. The Mental dimension is  also a very important one because even if you are physically fit it doesn't mean that your mind is healthy. It is important to try to maintain your intelligence  and your emotion because veryone deserves to feel healthy even in their mind. The third demension; Spiritual is not the easiest one to maintain because it's not just about going to church it's about finding time for yourself and to be at peace, especially when you are very busy and have so many things going on in your life. Some ways to maintain this demension is to meditate or be in a quiet space and alone, you can also go to church if you have free time it can really help you when you feel overwhelmed. The final demension; Social/Emotional is another habit that might not be so easy for everyone some people might find making freinds or socializing dificult. Some people might find it very easy this habit can effect your emotion a lot depending on a good or bad social interaction. "We take our kids for physical vaccinations, dental exams, eye checkups. When do we think to take our - our son or daughter for a mental health checkup?"- Gordon Smith
