One of my favorite animals are Polar bears they are the largest land carnivores in the world. They sit at the top of the food chain, they primarily feed on fat ice-dependent seals. They are a vital role in their ecosystem, their fur is thicker than any other bears. Their population is estimated to be between 20,000-25,000 in the entire world, and they are only found in the Arctic. Most males are about 8-9 feet, female 6-7 feet, their average lifespan is 20-25 years. They spend much of their time on the ice hunting, mating, and denning.
